Chief Information Officer – 3D Printing Technology & Prototype

Role Overview: The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will integrate 3D printing technology into the organization’s IT strategy, ensuring its successful implementation. This role requires a strong understanding of 3D printing technology, excellent communication, and project management skills.

Position Highlights:

• Transition a technology and engineering business into the modern digital era.
• Collaborate closely with the principal founder and owner.

• Preferably, candidates will have experience with prototypes, 3D printing technology, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess current IT infrastructure and develop a technology strategy to replace legacy systems and migrate to cloud solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and security.
• Drive technical strategy, oversee IT operations, and serve as an asset to the core services team.
• Lead the IT department in delivering robust, secure, and scalable technology solutions.
• Foster innovation and efficiency by integrating advanced technologies and methodologies.
• Manage and optimize the IT budget.
• Prioritize the security of the company’s IT infrastructure, leveraging experience with confidential, security clearance-level projects.
• Evaluate and select technology vendors and partners to maximize services and products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Master’s Degree or PhD preferred.
• Certifications: Six Sigma, ITIL, PMP.
• Deep knowledge of current cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements for federal and government contracts.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to assess vulnerabilities and implement cutting-edge methodologies.
• Strong project management and Agile methodology experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a small to midsize enterprise, managing teams of at least four members.
